The picture illustrates the changes in Grange Park between 1920 and the present day.
In the northeastern side, rose garden and pond will be demolished, and a cafe and children’s play area will be built. Meanwhile, at the bottom part, the glasshouse will be converted into a water feature. Although, at the very corner, the seats is planned to be replaced with the entrance of a car park.
In the present day, in the northwestern side, there are no more seats. Thus, the stage for musicians will be replaced by amphiteatre for concerts. Although, at the bottom part the rose garden and seats will be demolished.
In the center area, the fountain is planned to be replaced by rose garden and there are seats sorrounds the garden.
All in all, the public park has experienced significant changes, but, the entrance door remained unchanged. Moreover, the function in western area stay constant.
