The map gives information about how Pebbleton town developed 20 years ago and in the present day.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the town has become more residential, accessible, and entertaining at the expense of empty places while the school, playing field, roads, and lighthouse remained unchanged.
Twenty years ago, in the northern part of the town, there were four houses. By now, the number of houses have doubled in order to improve the lifestyle of people and community centres have been constructed then old film studios have been converted into new flats, showing residential growth.
For recreation, the old ford was removed and replaced by a children’s playground near the lighthouse and tennis courts have been built adjacent the playing field, which remained the same over time. A bridge and footpath were established over the river to connect the school and tennis courts in the south of the town.
