It is apparent that the harbour has developed more by changing up the structure and doubling a few of it’s features, such as the dock, for practical reasons and the showers and toilets area, for more sanatiry.
Due to a renovation in the disused castle, located in the southern west of the harbour and turning it to a hotel, a once public beach below the place turned to only exclusively available for hotel residents. Cafes and shops also came to establishment which, further developes the area and thus, popularizes the harbour.
Consequently, more and more people have come to enjoy the luxery of private yachts, and that is one of the reasons for the switch between where the fishing boats and yachts were stored originally. Porth Harbour’s change of map and structure is evidant of its futher development.
