The diagrams compare changes to the layout of a college cafe that have taken place after a development project.
Overall, it is clear that the layout has experienced various changes, becoming much more species-rich and modernized. The main developments include the addition of the new outdoor sitting area and other facilities.
A new area with chairs for outdoor preferences has been added below the cafe building, as can be seen on the map of the site prior to the redevelopment. Furthermore, a barbeque has been constructed on the left side of the patio. Moreover, there’s a salad bar inside the structure to the north of the barbecue.
After the improvements, only the kitchen, bathroom, and their facilities will stay unchanged. The structure will be expanded to the east and west, removing the outside courts to make room for more internal amenities. They included a serving room for hot meals, which has increased in size. Finally, the two rooms adjacent to one another were removed and rebuilt to remove the food and coffee bar.
