The two maps illustrate the changes that have been taken in a cafe before its redesign and at the present time.
Overall, it is evident that the cafe had significantly modernised. While the kitchen and toilet have remained in the same locations, several new facilities, including a salad bar, a barbecue bar, a coffee bar, a take away food, an outdoor seating and recycling bins, have been added. In contrast, the dining room was removed.
Looking first at the left-hand side of the cafe, the kitchen has remained unchanged, whereas serving areas, which provide all food and drinks, were transformed into hot meals. Furthermore, the salad bar has been installed along the left wall, while a barbecue area has been constructed at the bottom left corner. In addition, outdoor seating has been added outside the cafe.
Turning to the right hand of the cafe, the two staff dining rooms were replaced by take away food and the coffee bar. The large dining room area with tables and chairs, including toilet, stayed at the same location. On the right, the bin has been changed by the recycling bins.
