The diagram illustrates various changes a college cafe has undergone over time since before it was redesigned.

Overall, the cafe has noticeably modernized its facilities including various serving areas for foods such as hot meals, salad bar and barbecue and its outdoor space has also been expanded while the kitchen and the dining room has remained unchanged. However, a few unnecessary sections such as serving areas and staff dining room has been deleted.

Moving to the left-hand side of the cafe, while the kitchen has not been replaced, the serving area, which provides all foods and drinks, has been replaced with hot meals. Moreover, the salad bar has been installed along the wall and the barbecue has been constructed in the bottom left corner. In addition, more outdoor seating has been added outside the cafe.

Turning to the right-hand side, the staff dining room has been removed and transformed into a take away food and coffee bar. Furthermore, a large dining area with tables and chairs, including toilets, has remained the same, while a bin has been upgraded to a recycling one.
