The maps compare the transformation of a natural history museum between 2010 and 2013. Overall, the museum was extended and while the central part remained more or less unchanged,a number of facilities such as a shop and a cafe were introduced.Additionally, the museum saw the relocation of its older areas.
In 2010,the Natural History Museum offered only a few facilities.An ocean hall occupied the center,while a lobby and an entrance were locates just bottom of the map,which remained intact in 2013.Exhibitions like Mammals and Dinosaur Hall were located to the west side of the museum,with ticket desk situating next to the latter one.There was also a garden,which was replaced by some new areas in 2013.
By 2013,the museum witnessed some major changes,while the dinosaur and ticket desk remained without any alterations.The mammals moved to the east side of the museum,and there were now Ice Age exhibitions and insects section.Additionally,other constructions included introduction of a shop,a cafe,and human origins display, which resulted in the disappearance of the garden
