The plans depict an airport renovation starting from the year 1980 to 2020. Overall, there had been several changes, the most prominent being the increase in the number of gates, introduction of new facilities such as car hire, cafe, exhange place, bag drop spot and sky train.
In the year 1980, there were two entrances for both departures and arrivals. Entering the airport, it could be seen that there were a check-in in the west and a cafe in the northeast. There were two sections allocated for security passport control and passport control customs. Passing those places, there could be seen 8 total gates and a walkaway.
Over the 40 years, in 2020, the place of departures and arrivals remained the same, but there was added 2 more additional doors to their previous entrances. After walking into the airport, the previous cafe was transferred to the southwest, and check-in place was shifted to the northeast. Additionally, there was built a bag drop spot in the northwest. Upon entering to arrivals, it could be seen that there were constructed a new cafe, an exchange place and a car hiring place. Next to security passport control section, the place was allocated for shops. Lastly, the number of gates increased significantly and the walkway was destroyed to make way for sky train.
