The given plans provide information about the layout of a university’s sports center at present as well as the numerous alterations that will be made to it in the future.
Overall, the sports center will undergo several considerable changes, with some parts of the center getting abolished along with numerous other additions and expansions.
At present, the university sports center has a small central area with a pool in the middle, with a gym located to the North of the pool, a changing room located to the West, seating to the East, and finally, the reception situated to the South, infront of the entrance. Furthermore, there are two outdoor courts built on either side of the area in the middle.
For the future, the university intends to make the sports center substantially bigger with additional facilities for its students. Firstly, the gym will undergo expansion where it will be almost twice as big as it is in the present. Next, the outdoor courts will be abolished to make room for a sports hall that will be located right beside the seating and a leisure pool situated adjacent to the changing room. Furthermore, two rooms will be built to be set aside for two individual dance studios. Additional changing rooms will be constructed at the South-West and South-East corners of the center. Finally, the position of the reception will remain the same and a sports shop as well as a cafe will be built to the West and East of the entrance, respectively.
