The map shows how Beechwood Farm has changed from 1950 to the present day.
In general, Beechwood Farm has become more accessible with new roads and parking areas, more entertaining with camping areas and holiday cottages, and greener due to the addition of solar panels, despite taking up space that was previously used for sheep.
From 1950 to 2025, the sheep grazing area has been segmented into four sections, which now include two parking spaces, a campsite, and a solar panel installation. Additionally, the pathways around the farm have been upgraded to roads, and the barn has been moved from the edge of the pathways to the junction of two roads near the chicken area.
Vacation cottages have replaced the barn’s original location from 1950. Simultaneously, a farm shop has been constructed in the vicinity of the fruit trees. However, the locations of the farmhouse, chicken area, vegetable region, soft fruit patch, and fruit tree area have remained unchanged throughout the last 75 years.
