The represented maps illustrate the transformation of Beechwood Farm, how it was in 1950 and the present day.
Overall, it is clear that almost half of the facilities such as fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables, chickens, and farmhouse remained unchanged. However, barn became smaller and was replaced, whereas sheep zone was removed to make space for other features. The area became more urbanized and convenient for farmers.
In the north-east side of the farm, the sheep area was removed and divided into two equal parts. On the one side near the road, new facilities were built, including camping field, parking area and some green places. On the other side, solar panels was established as well as the second part of parking.
In terms of new constructions, the track along the farm was converted into the modern road and the barn that was in 1950 was relocated from the east side to the south, so the open space was transformed into holiday cottages. Additionally, in the north-west area new farm shop was constructed right next to the fruit trees. However, the main places such as the farmhouse, chickens, vegetables, soft fruits, and fruit trees continued to exist.
