The plans describe the changes of the site of Beechwood farm between 1950 and today.
Overall, the farm has experienced increased development, changing from an agricultural area into one that had additional facilities and accommodations for tourism and farming. Several farming areas were removed to make way for the facilities such as solar panels, camping field and parking.
By 1950, the land was mainly used for agricultural purposes. The northern east part of the map was taken by sheep whereas the centre and the southern west were occupied by vegetables, soft fruits and fruit trees. The areas of the barn, farmhouse and chickens were located in the southern east part of the land.
Nowaday, many parts of the land have been changed and replaced. The areas for the sheep have been removed and transformed into the place for solar panels and parking. The camping field with several tents have been introduced in the centre part of the map and the farm shop has been added into the fruit tree area meanwhile, the previous barn, located in the east section, was replaced by holiday cottages.
