Overall, the South Wing of the Walton Museum was converted to the larger museum compared to the past, and the life were newly added.
In 2002, the museum were fully renovated, and converted from second floor to fourth floor. It had no stair to reach in every floor but lift had available instead of stairs.The first floor consisted of a children play area, a shop, and a special exhibition room. Similarly, the second floor had the entrance hall, reception – cloaks room, and a reading room, while the third floor had the restaurant option, a self-service room ,and a terrace to refresh and relax visitors; however, fourt floor had only one room called the exhibition room, and its slab had triangle shape. The lift was provided by the museum to go from frst floor to fourth floor.
In 2008, five rooms were seen in the plan, while there was no any lift there instead of stairs. The first floor had a special exhibition room, a shop, and a cloaks room. The second floor had two room only: a reading room and a reception room, while the entrance had open space.
