The given blueprints illsutrate, the developments of South Wing of Walton museum in four years, from 2008 to 2012.
Overall, in the 2012 layout the major changes were observed in the entrance and upgrading the old building with elevator, building new rooms and a terrace.
In detail, the museum in 2008 had a direct pathway leading to reception which is followed by a reading room behind it. Furthermore on the lower side of the 2008 blueprint lies exhibition room, shop, and a cloaks room and stairs instersected between them.
In contarst the updated museum of South Wig of Walton, had path leading to entrance hall and then reception which was also made into cloak room. Additionally on top of entrance hall there came a new terrace , so as restaurant on reception and cloak room. The sepcial exhibition and shop stood unchanged over time, while stairs were replaced by lift. Where as, the intial cloak room seen in 2008 was modified to children play area, while reading on top of it was same, new sections self service room and exhibition room were built.
