The diagram shows the exisiting state of a university’s sports center now and a proposed future plan. In overall, the sports center will be redevelop with many accessible with additional halls, rooms, cafe, sports shop and a leisure pool. According to the future layout we can see that the majority of sports center will largely chnaged in terms of the structures.
In the present day, there are only two outdoor courts in the east and west sides. However, the courts will be replaced by a leisure pool in west side and a sports hall in the east side. In addition, the length of the gym would also become bit long and the changing room will be more comperehensive with more two changing rooms in the south east and south west. Notably, the reception are will be more expanded with a sports shop and a cafe which will be built in front of the entrance.
Futhermore, a new leisure pool will be established in west side while the 25m pool area would stay just as it is. And also the seating area will not alter which located between sports hall and the pool area. In detail the east side of the sports center itself would be interrupted by a new two dance studios near the gym and sports hall.
In summary, as seen the sports center of the university will undergo a substancial transforomations in the future.
