Overall,only the section dedicated to newspapers and periodicals disappeared, while areas for children and their books, Films and DVDs and Computers were made avialable, along with the shelves devoted to economics, law in kitchenn, which were previously absent. Additionally, the entrance, librarian’s desk, stairs, tables, History and Self Help book lines remained mostly untouched, despite with only minor changes.
In 2001, the area used yo have limited public facilities, with its features sparsely situated. Upon accessing the library readers would face the librarian’s desk straight away and stairs on the right side. In the middle of the library there were 8 tables to cater to visitors, with Newspapers and periodicals accesible on the right. in the opposite direction, book shelves allocated for History and Self help could be found, latter connected to scetion of fiction books.
By 2009, the ground floor had undergone a significant transformations, turning into more children-oriented and vibrant location. The removal of Newspaper and periodicals created room for the establishment of films and DVDs, and the number of tables halved while their size doubled. The shelves for Self help and History were norrowed to accomodate fictions, the kitchen and books devoted to Economics and Law. The former location of Fiction were now replaced with Children’s books with playground just beneath it. To opposite of stairs, computers added.
