The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place at Beechwood Farm between 1950 and the present day.
Overall, the farm has undergone considerable development, especially in the northeastern and southeastern areas, while much of the western and central land has remained unchanged.
In 1950, the farm had a large area for sheep grazing in the northeast, but this has since been replaced by a camping field, solar panels, and a tree. Two parking areas have also been introduced — one near the main road in the northwest and another near the eastern road. The barn, which was originally located near the farmhouse, has been relocated closer to the river where two roads intersect. The old barn site has been converted into holiday cottages.
The track leading to the barn has been transformed into a paved road, providing better access to both the barn and the cottages. In the northwest, part of the fruit tree area now contains a farm shop near the road junction. In contrast, the farmhouse, chicken area, fruit trees, soft fruits, and vegetable plots have remained unchanged.
