The given charts illustrate the proportion of people using internet in five Europe countries and the average amount of money per person spent on online shopping in 2000.
As is evident from two charts, while Sweden occupied a lion’s share in the population using internet, Spain had the lowest figure. In terms of online spending, the UK accounted for the highest average expenditure per person, Spain remained the lowest in both categories.
With regard to the bar chart, the figure for Sweden was highest at 35%, which was seven times higher than the figures for Spain. In addition, the second position was the UK, which was 15% lower than Sweden. Moreover, the figures for Germany and France were lower, at 15% and 10% respectively.
As to the pie chart, the majority of average spent on online shopping was the UK, at 87 euros, while the minority one was the Spain, which was roughly one ninth lower than the UK. Meanwhile, Sweden stood at the second position at 76%, which was 30% higher than the figure for Germany. Finally, the figure for France was 46%, which approximately a haft of the UK.
