Notably, sightseeing is the most preferred activity among tourists, and the most chosen type of accommodation is camping or caravan.
Looking first at the pie chart, the figures for the US and Europe are almost identical, with the latter being slightly higher, at 35% and 37% respectively. Contrastingly, the following proportions were dramatically lower, almost half the former numbers, as tourists from other regions only accounted for 18%, surpassing that of Asia by 8%.
According to information provided by the table, Europeans are the ones with the highest staying period, which lasted about 16 days, followed closely by Americans, for an average of 14 days. Meanwhile, visitors from Asia and other regions relatively had shorter stays, from 7 to 10 days.
Regarding the other two categories, Asian and American customers shared the same preferences in high-rated hotels, considering 5- and 4-star qualified ones, with their similar main activity being sightseeing. At the same time, Europeans and those coming from other regions tend to have interests in camping or caravans as holiday shelters, and usually participate in beach-related activities, such as swimming, sunbathing, and surfing.
