The diagram depicts the various steps involved in the process of manufacturing a pineapple product.
Overall, it is obvious that the process consists of 3 main stages including growing a pineapple tree, harvesting a pineapple and manufacturing a pineapple product.
In the first main step of the process, a pineapple tree is grown at tropical temperature, between 28 and 30 degrees. Additionally, the distance between two adjacent trees is 26 centimeters or above. After seven months, an immature pineapple grows up into a mature pineapple, at this steps, the mature pineapple is harvested or injected chemicals to boost its weight and height. Five months later, the chemical pineapple develops fully, its weight is about two kilograms while its height is about 30 centimeters.
In the subsequent stages of the process, a harvested pineapple is divided into 3 groups, an immature pineapple, a mature pineapple and a chemical pineapple. All of them are cleaned under water after that, the immature pineapple is put in an extractor to extract its liquid while the mature one is chopped and packed into box, ready to distribute to the customers . In contrast to the immature and mature pineapple, the chemical pineapple is waxed to delivery to the overseas customers.
