The given diagram illustrates the procedure of manufacturing pineapples for sale.
Overall, it is a multi-stage process involving manual labor, during which pineapples undergo mechanical treatment to be turned into juice, canned pineapple, or remaining almost untouched and transported.
The process begins when the temperature reaches 28C-30C and pineapples grow up to 30cm and 2kg, which requires 12 months, with the use of chemicals for at least 5 months. All pineapples are then washed. Afterwards, there are three possible developments. The first 2 stages of canned pineapples and juice are cleaning and cutting. As for the first case, chopped pineapple passes through an extractor to be turned into juice. In terms of the second, instead of being squeezed, cut pineapples are packed in special forms to put them in cans. The last variation involves pineapples being watered with wax and being delivered somewhere by sea.
