Overall, it is clear that there are ten stages for producing coconut oil. The process begins with harvesting and ending with shipping stage.
Looking at the first stage of the coconut oil production, coconuts are picked from trees by farmers. They need to be carefully about time to harvest because the time can affect the quailty of coconut. Next, The harvested coconut undergo dehusking to remove outer shell, followed by grating to break coconut flesk into smaller pieces. Then, the grated coconut are weighted to check how much it loss before moving to the next stage.
After this, The weighted coconut are dried by sunlight to get rid of water in coconut. When they are dried enough, hydralic press is used to extracting coconut oil in dried coconut. Ensuring the impurities are disappered, the pressed oil is clarity by steam and pass the filter. Afterwards, the filtered coconut oil is packaged into varies of container such as bottles, jars, cans and others. Lastly, It is shipped to the consumer inside the wooden cargo box.
