The given diagram demonstrates the modern landfill design that is used for waste treatment process.
Overall, it can be observed that the process is a fairly straightforward one which begins with the constructon stage through three main steps: construction, use and closure.
This analysis will begin with the initial two stages where this modern landfill is constructed. A hole will be digged by households in the surface of the natural rock which is used to et up the waste landfill. In the next step, clay will be put in this hole before establising the drainage tank in order to prevent soil pollution when waste is thrown into this hole.
Attention will now be goven to the usage stage. Waste is going to be collected from households in the town and brought to this modern landfill, with the liquid one going through the drainage pipes, classified with the solid garbage. Regarding the closure step, chay is used to cover this hole surface along with the gases and pipes established to treat the liquid waste.
