The image displays a diagram titled 'The production stages of fresh orange juice and orange juice made from concentrate,' outlining two distinct processes. The first process starts with fresh oranges transported by truck to a factory, where they undergo washing and juice extraction. This extraction yields two byproducts: solid waste, which is used as animal feed, and fresh orange juice. The fresh orange juice is then packaged, transported via refrigerated transport, and delivered to shops. The second process begins with the fresh orange juice from the extraction stage undergoing evaporation to produce concentrate orange juice. This concentrate is canned and transported to a warehouse for storage. Later, the canned concentrate is moved by truck to another factory where water is added. The resulting reconstituted orange juice from concentrate is packaged, transported by truck, and delivered to shops.

Task Response

The report addresses the main stages of both processes, but there are some inaccuracies and omissions. For instance, the description of the concentrate process incorrectly states that water is added during evaporation, and it omits the step of adding water to the concentrate before packaging. Additionally, there are minor spelling errors (e.g., 'watse', 'saparated', 'feel', 'go though', 'evaported') and some awkward phrasing. To improve, ensure that each stage is accurately described and that the sequence of steps is clear. Also, proofread for spelling and grammatical accuracy.

Coherence & Cohesion

The report is logically organized and the overall flow is easy to follow. The use of sequencing language (e.g., 'In the next stage', 'Next', 'Regarding the remaining stages', 'After that') helps guide the reader. However, there are minor lapses in cohesion, such as the abrupt transition from the fresh juice process to the concentrate process, and the final sentence could be more clearly linked to the preceding steps. Consider using clearer paragraphing to separate the two main processes and ensure each paragraph has a clear central topic.

Lexical Resource

The report uses a range of vocabulary appropriate for the task, such as 'transported', 'extraction', 'packaged', 'refrigerated truck', and 'warehouse'. However, there are some inaccuracies and less precise word choices (e.g., 'go though' instead of 'goes through', 'evaported' instead of 'evaporated', 'watse' instead of 'waste', 'feel' instead of 'feed'). To improve, use more precise and varied vocabulary (e.g., 'undergoes evaporation', 'reconstituted juice') and ensure correct spelling of key terms.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The report demonstrates a reasonable range of grammatical structures, including passive voice and complex sentences. However, there are several errors that affect clarity and accuracy, such as subject-verb agreement ('fresh orange juice go though' should be 'goes through'), incorrect use of relative clauses ('which water is added' should be 'where water is added' or 'to which water is added'), and misspellings ('saparated', 'evaported', 'watse', 'feel'). To improve, proofread carefully and practice using a wider variety of sentence structures with accurate grammar and punctuation.
