Overall, it is evident that in all the countries, the percentage of people aged 60 and over will be expected to experience upward trends by 2050. In addition, people who aged 60 and just over in Korea began at the lowest percentage among others and showed a declinening by half of the period, it is predicted to drammaticly grow, reaching the peakest figure by 2050.
In 1950, the percentage of people aged 60 and over in Korea, the USA and Spain stood at 5%, 9% and 7%, rerspectively. After 4 decades, the percentage of americans and spanish aged 60 and over considreablely surged, reaching to 15% and 14% with the figure for spain growing twofold while Korea steadly declined twofold between 1950 and 1970, before reamaining stable by 1990. The percentage of elderly people in Korea and Spain grew slightly from 2.5% and 14 % in 1990 to 5% which was equal with its initial number and exact 15% in 2010 whereas the USA experienced downward trend by 1 % in the time frame.
By 2050, the percentage of people aged 60 and over in Korea, Spain and the USA is predicted to increase significantly, reaching at approcimately 22%, 20% and 18%, respectively.
