Overall, the most common place for young people to dance is a private studio, while college-based ones are the least popular. Meanwhile, ballet is the most popular dance among children under 11; however, modern dance classes are attended by young people aged 11-16.
To start with the location of dance clubs, private studios represent almost half (48%). The proportion of school halls, at the same time, accounts for 24%. In terms of community halls and college-based studios, they have smaller percentages, 18% and 10%, respectively.
When it comes to the types of dance classes by age group, the majority of students are attending ballet classes. Tap and modern dances attracted a smaller number of children, with about 450 and 300 students each. In terms of participants aged 11-16, their number who enrolled in modern dance classes represents over 500. However, tap and ballet courses have over 400 and 300 students, respectively
