The provided map shows differences between today’ southeast airport layout and development layout plan. Overall, the most prominent changes on the top area of the airport is the enhancement of the plane gates, initially eight to eighteen, whereas on the lowest area of the airport is the new construction of several airport tenants & functional areas.
The development layout plan reveals the new build of plane gate with Y signs look-alike to expanding plan capacity which also affects the sky-train to be relocated in the middle of the building. Moreover, the new layout plan opens for tenant placement in the middle area, where it never existed before.
In addition to the lowest area of the airport, there will be an expansion in gate for both departure and arrivals, doubling the existing gate’ availability. Further, today’ unused area at the right side of the airport will be developed by the establishment of a cafe, money changer, and car hire locket. In contrast, there will be several changes in the left side of the airport, including the replacement of the check in area into the bag drop as well as the cafe into the check in and the cafe area into the new build places at the southern west area of the airport.
