In 2010, the layout included a garden at both the top and bottom, a living room, three student bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a main entrance leading to a hallway, all accessed centrally. The maps given shows comparison of a student accommodation in 2010 and in the present.

Overall, both the diagrams compare a student accommodation in the past and now.

First, the diagram in 2010 started from the main entrance and a long hallway. After that long hallway came the student’s bedroom. Beside the student’s bedroom was the kitchen, the opposite side of the kitchen was the bathroom. Beside that bathroom on the same side was another student’s bedroom. Going back to the kitchen, beside the kitchen is a third student’s bedroom, beside that bedroom was a living room. And that area was surrounded by a garden around it.

Now, the student accommodation shows an improvement. The main entrance and hallway are still there, but before the first student’s bedroom is a room called exam room. Then came the first student’s bedroom beside it is the kitchen, beside the kitchen is the second student’s bedroom, beside the second student’s bedroom is a third student’s bedroom, the third student’s bedroom is followed by a fourth bedroom. On the opposite side of the fourth student’s bedroom is a fifth bedroom and beside it is the bathroom. The outer space of the area is not fully surrounded with a garden, there is a parking area as well.

In conclusion, the present student accommodation seems to have more student’s bedroom than the one in 2010, a parcking area, and an exam room.
