The table above gives the hobbies of people for spending their free time in theatres and museums in Boston among different age groups in 2005, and the pie chart illustrates the satisfaction level of each group of people.
Overall, the group of people between the ages of 18 and 30 spent most of their time entertaining at the theater and the age group of 41 to 50 prefers museums, while the oldest group which is over 60 years old rarely went to the theatres and museums to entertain. However, the satisfaction rating was only uncertain.
One notable feature of the table is that the theatres are the place where were chosen to spend free time for hobbies with the youngest ages being between 18 to 30 years (68%), but this percentage significantly decreased with age: the age group of over 60 accounted for 4%. Besides, the group of people between the ages of 41 and 50 chose to go to the museums the most (56%) . With age groups of 31 to 40 and over 60, the rates were 24% and 11% respectively.
However, the satisfaction level of those group of people wasn’t high, only 8%, dissatisfaction accounts for 10% and almost of people weren’t sure whereas they were satisfied or not (82% population).
