The table chart compares the percentages of money spent on three different categories in the year of 2002.
It is clear that food/drinks/tobacco consumed the highest proportion of money in all countries. However, the lowest portion of money went on leisure/education in the given year.
According to the table, the largest percentages of money spent on food/drinks/tobacco by Turkish and Irish people, at 32.14% and 28.91% respectively. Similarly, people of Turkey also paid higher portion of money on leisure/education, at 4.35%. People of Italy spent 9% of their money on clothing/footwear, which was the highest figure in this category in 2002.
On the other hand, in Sweden, the lowest portion of money went on food/drinks/tobacco and clothing/footwear were 15.77% and 5.40% in some respects. These figure were a bit higher for Spain. But they spent the lowest percentages of money on leisure/education was 1.98%.
