The 2 tables provide information about coffee and banana sales amidst some European countries in 1999 and 2004.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that Fairtrade-labelled coffee have been mostly provided by Switzerland, while Sweden was not in much interest in selling those products. Although, the amount of sold bananas from Switzerland led the to inducement of millions of euros in one year.
In the first table, it is depicted that Switzerland was the most significant contributor of coffee, reaching 3 millions of euros in 1999, and doubling in the following half of a decade. Meanwhile, Sweden with the lowest pattern contributed to under million index, albeit grew up to 1 million in 2004. The most eye catching climb in the number of sales was attributed to UK, having only 1.5 millions initially, sky-rocketed up to 20 millions in following 5 years.
Second table, which shows the amount of banana sales and how much money they bring, shows that Switzerland was a leader even here, with 15 millions of euros from selling bananas in 1999, and surpassing the number of 45 in 2004. Others, also grew rapidly, however, except Denmark, which oppositely sold less bananas than others. Precisely, from 2 millions of euros in 1999 to 0.9 millions in 2004.
