Overall, it can be seen that there was an upward trend for all of the nations. with Sweden showing the highest proportion of tax collection compared to the others. Moreover, while the stats for the USA and Japan had a consistent growth, Korea and Turkey experienced an unstable demographics throughout 30 years. In 1975, Sweden showed 46% of tax collection which was almost double of the USA and aprroximately 4 times of the rest. After that, this country continued increasing substanably and reached 70.1% in 2005, remained the highest demographic among the other countries. Meanwhile, the USA’s proportion slowly grew but not too outstanding and finally achieved 27.4% in 2005. Japan also saw a significant rise during 30-year period and by 2005, the collected tax from this region was at 32.1%.
Regarding the remaining demographics, in 1975, the tax collected in Korea and Turkey were at 15.1% and 16.4% respectively. Korea went up notably to 27% in 1985, before gradually dropping to 26% and climbing to 27.3%. By contrast, in 1985, Turkey showed a small decrease to 15%, and by 1995, the tax revenue of this country suddenly rocketed and went up to 27.4% in 2005, which also equaled to USA’s figure.
