The table compares the data about the tax amount obtained (as GDP %) in five different nations for 4 years from 1975 to 2005. Overall, the table was designed in an order from the biggest proportion of the country to the smallest (from Sweden to Turkey). Additionally, all figures of five counties experienced increase, but two of percentages of two countries underwent fluctuated growth: Korea and Turkey, from 1975 to 2005.
Focusing on the biggest figure, from 46% of GDP of Sweden, the figure rose gradually to 70.1%; next on the list was USA with amount of tax, which increased from 25.1% to 27.4%, that was insignificant. The Japan, which was fourth on the list according to the share of GDP %, saw smooth growth from 15% to 32.1% between 1975 and 2005.
The countries: Korea and Turkey rose but with slight drop in proportion of tax amount. The GDP % of Korea, while increasing from 15.1 % (in 1975) to 27.3% (by 2005), dropped from 27% to 26% between 1985 and 1995. In addition, the amount of tax from Turkey experienced the same development, decreased to 15% in 1985, whereas increasing from 16.4% to 27.4% from 1975 to 2005.
