The table illustrates how much water was spent in three different categories in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand and Canada. Overall, the largest used in water for agriculture in Egypt, and the lowest proportion of water used in domestic use in Saudi Arabia.
To start with agriculture, the vast amount of water used in Egypt than other countries, accounted for 82%, making it the proportion on the table. Meanwhile, the water used in Saudi Arabians and New Zealanders occupied medium share, 64% and 44% respectively. However , by contrast in three countries, in Canada, the figure was little percentage in agriculture, merely 10%.
When it comes to other sectors, namely domestic use and industry. Canada showed the highest percentage used the water for both sectors, domestic use 20% and industry 70% respectively. New Zealand was the second major sector in using water in domestic use and industry, accounting for 10% and 46%. In Egypt and Saudi Arabia, these proportions were seen at varying degrees domestic use 8% and 6%, industry 10% and 30%, respectively.
