The table illustrates information regarding how much water was spent in three different sectors in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, and Canada in a particular period.
Overall, while the higher amount was seen in agriculture in all countries with the exception of Canada. It is also clear that Canada divided greater quantity of water for domestic use compare to others.
To start with countries which spent the vast amount of water for agriculture, Egypt allocated 8% of water for domestic use, and 10 % for industry. Yet, most water was distributed to agriculture with 82% in Egypt. As for Saudi Arabia, it apportioned 6% of water to domestic usage. It spent 30% of its water for industry which was almost half of the amount devoted for agriculture(64%).
By contrast, New Zealand and Canada applied the largest portions to industry. The former sent 10% for domestic use and the latter allocate twice as much water for that sector. While New Zealand aimed 44% of water for agriculture, Canada used the least portion of its water(10%) for that. When it comes to industry, New Zealand committed 46% of water, and Canada had 70% of distribution for industrial usage.
