The table compares the amount of water used in three various sectors in four countries – Egyp, Saudia Arabia, New Zealand, and Canada. Units measured in percentages.
Overall, agriculture showed the highest percentage of water use among other sectors. It is also evident that domestic use was the lowest sector in all countries.
To begin with agriculture sector, Egypt and Saudia Arabia led the figure by getting the highest percentage of agriculture for about 82% and 64%. The reverse was true for domestic use, which accounted 8% in former country, and 6% in the latter. In Saudia, agriculture was 64%, twice lower as much as higher than industry, which accounted 30%
Despite being dominant the highest industry sector at 46%, New Zealand also experienced large proportion of agriculture at 44%. It is also worth mentioning that Canada has highest percentage of industry(70%), which is 50% more than domestic use, which accounted 20%. Finally, growth percentage was considerably higher for 20% in domestic use to agriculture 10%.
