The following report illustrates the average annual expenditure of university students in three different countries. From the table, it is the clear that the largest amount was spent by country A on acommodation whereas the least amount was spent on other minor living costs by country C.
In country A, acommodation took up most of the annual budget of students, being almost forty-five percent of their total budget. Food and Leisure activities cost the students roughly the same, about 22 percent of their total budget respectively. Meanwhile, books consumed the smallest portion of their budget, at around three percent.
In country B, accomodation expenses were 10 percent lower than those of country A. However, other costs such as Food and Leisure were higher, being 28 and 23 percent respectively. Although the book expenses were three times those of country A, the money spent on other activities was less, at about 5 percent while country A had an expenditure of 8 percent.
Finally, country C had the lowest acommodation, leisure and other costs. Which came in at 30 percent, 12 percent and 1 percent of the annual budget. Even though these prices were low, the amount spent on food and books was the highest among all 3 countries, which was thirty-six and twenty-one percent respectively.
