The table illustrates the proportion of cacao beans produced in six areas between 1992 and 1998.

It is clear that the production of cacao beans in Asia, Oceania, South America increased while the figures for England and North and Central America had an opposite trend. Additionally, Asia was the largest producer of cacao beans.

There were sharp increased to 436,000 and 77,000 of cacao beans production in 1998 in Asia and Oceania, respectively. 143,000 tones of cacao beans were made in South America in 1992 and it dropped to 127,000 tones in 1996 before rose quickly to 389,000 in the last year.

The producing of cacao beans in England fluctuated and dropped to 49,000 in 1998. 25,000 tones were decreased swiftly in 1994 in North and Central America before returned inital figure after 6 years. The percentage of cacao beans in Africa went up significantly to 119,000 tonnes in 1996. 2 years later, that for this category hit a bottom at 25,000.
