The table chart demonstrates how much cocoa beans were produced in six different regions—North and Central America, Africa,Asia,Oceania,South America,England —from 1992 to 1998.
Overall, it is clearly evident that, South America was the highest cocoa beans producer in the initial years, while Asia suprassed it at the end of the period.
In 1992 and 1994 South America was most prominent reason for producing cocoa wins which student 143000 tones and 140000 respectively. Similarly Asia also produced 119000 tones in 1992 and 124000 in 1994. However ,from 1996 to 1998, South America lakh behind Asia,with Asia production comprising 234000 tonnes(1996)and 436000(1998).
North and Central America, Africa ,Oceania and England produce less than 75000 tones cocoa beans in every time period.Among them Africa was the region who produced less cocoa beans in every time period except in 1996.In 1992 ,Africa produced 29000 cocoa beans,whereas in 1996 it produced highest cocoa beans which stood at 119000 tones.
