The table indicates infromation about the use of different types of transport in Shanghai in two years, in 1996 and possible prediction of them in 2020.
First of all, The most popular and used type of transports in the city was bus with the 39%. On the second place, after busses, the most used transport was bicycle with a bit lower percentage than busses (27%). Other ones, car and scooter had almost same proportion with 15% and 12%. The lowest used modes of commuting was walking with 7%. Train was not used at all in that time.
Finally, in 2020 will be a big changes in transportation. Car will increase significantly to 52% and ut will become the most used modes of transport. Bus will decrease and will be the second most used ones with 22%. Scooter and train will have almost the same proportion with 7% and 13%. Walking amd bicycle will have the lowest percentage with 3% each.
In conclusion, in 1996 the most used transports were bus and bicycle. However in 2020 the most used ones will be car and bus.
