Overall, the values increased consistently in most countries except for Mexico and Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Japan’s figure remained dramatically higher than the other countries.
In 2010, the value of kiwi in Japan stood at $271,100,000.00, around three times higher than that of China. The figures for Mexico, Russia, and Saudi Arabia were relatively lower, at $6,000,000.00, $968,000.00, and $290,000.00, respectively.
From 2011 onwards, the figure continued to increase in Japan, climbing from $287,400,000.00 in 2011 to $325,300,000.00 in 2012. China and Russia shared a similar pattern, with the value rising to $94,000,000.00 and $2,404,000.00 in 2012, respectively. By contrast, the figure for Mexico and Saudi Arabia fluctuated differently. While the former decreased to $2,400,000.00 in 2011 and bounced back to $3,300,000.00 in 2012, the latter grew significantly to $407,000.00 in 2011 before declining to $82,000.00 in the final year.
