The table demonstrates data on consumer purchasing various items in five different countries in 2002.
From an overall perspective, it is clear that consumer spent his money mostly on food, drinks or tobacco, whereas the leasts money was spent on leisure and education.
It can be seen that highest percentage of money was ellocated on food/drinks/tobacco and education was in Turkey, 32,14% and 4,35%, respectively. Whereas the least spent money on food was in Sweden (15,77%), and 6,63% was ellocated on clothes. In Italy customer spent 9% of his income on clothings, which is the highest among money spent on clothes or footwear, while only 2,21% of money was ellocated on education.
In Ireland the 28,91% of income was spent on food, which is twice of that in Sweden, however in Sweden, customer spent 1,01% more money on education. In Spain the lowest percentage was ellocated on education, which is 1,98%, but the money spent on food was in top three (18,80%).
