The given chart depicts data about consumer expenditure for various products between five different countries in the year 2002.
Overall, it can be clearly seen from the table that percentage of spending for the first three items like food, drinks and tobacco was the highest for all countries. Whereas, for the last two products all countries spent least in percent.
For the food, drinks and tobacco the countries like Ireland and Turkey are spent 28.91 and 32.14 percent respectively, while the other three countries showed lower amount of proportion with just over 15 percents approximately.
In comparion with other four countries Italy’s spending on items like a clothing and footwear was the highest with 9 percent. Despite this, other four countries’ amount of proportion on the same item was lower with just three percents roughly. Spending on the leisure and education for the countries like Italy and Sweden depicted almost same proportion with 3.2 and 3.22. Compared to Ireland and Spain, Turkey’s spending for the last two products was two times higher with 4.35 percent.
