The table demonstrates data about people’s expenditure in one year on food/drinks/tobacco, clothing/footwear and leisure/education in Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey.
Overall, it can be seen that people mostly spent money on food/drinks/tobacco, however leisure/education has the lowest percentages on this chart.
In the first category Turkey had the highest percentage of spendings, but Ireland had almost the same indicator. Compared with Turkey, Sweden and Italy had the lowest percentage of expenditure in this section. Although, in the second category Italy placed on the first place and it had 9% of expenditure, however in Sweden people used to spend lees than other countries. Also Ireland, Spain and Turkey had almost similar percentages that is around 6,5%. Leisure/education was the most unpopular choice by all these countries. In particular, Turkey spent on leisure/education more than others , equally to the first category in both of these categories Turkey had the highest percentage. In addition, Spain spent around 2% on leisure/education that is near to Ireland. What is more, Sweden and Italy had approximately same percentages around 3,2% in the last category.
