The table provides data about the statistic of visitor for different world heritage sites in Australia in three separate years,1996, 1998 and 2000.
Overall, it can be seen that visitor statistic for Great Barrier Reef, Blue Mountains, Tasmania Wilderness and Shark Bay sites increased whereas, they decreased for Central Eastern Rainforest Reserve and Macquarie Island.
Looking at the table in more detail it is seen that the amount of statistic of visitor for Great Barrier Reef stood at about 1670000 in 1996. This number had grew to 3200000 in 2000, which was the highest change on the table. The statistic of visitor for Blue Mountains and Tasmania Wilderness showed a similar trend increased from 526000 and 450000 in 1996 to 581000 and 483000 in 2000, respectively. Visitor statistic for Shark Bay slightly grew from 84000 to 89000 over the period shown.
Turning to the remaining data sets it is evident that amount of statistic of visitor for Central Eastern Rainforest Reserve was at 810000 in 1996. This figure consistently dropped to 790000 in 1998 and 770000 in 2000. Finally, the statistic of visitor for Macquarie Island slightly fell from 350 in 1996 to 310 in 1998 and grew to 330 at the end of the period.
