The chart shows the data about visitors visited for various World Heritage places in Australia spanning from 1996 to 2000 in every two years including six sites.
Overall, except for two sites all locations had tendency to grow steadily over 4 years, especially Great Barrier Reef had increased significantly compared to remaining sites.
To begin with, Great Barrier Reef had around 1.7 million visitors in 1996, ended up almost tripled its initial number of visitors which led to 3.2million people by 2000, whereas Macquaire Island had the lowest visitors with slightly above 300 in all years.
Moreover, Macquiare Island and Central Eastern Rainforest Reserve had tendency to drop down by end of 2000 with initial number of 810’000 and 350 visitors to lose 40’000 and 20 people which of each, while others increased mildly and remained its pace, shark bay had oscillation around 20’000 visitors in 1998 though.
