The table shows how much a single person in one European country consumed food in grams per week in the years 1992, 2002 and 2012.
Overall, foods except for meat such as vegetables, wheat, bean and cheese increased in grams. Additionally, vegetables were the most consumed food, while cheese was least.
Focusing on the foods that people ate most, 2140 grams of vegetables were consumed per head in a week, while a person ate 1148 grams of meat in 1992. By 2002, both vegetable and meat consumption rose and became 2190 and 1211 grams, respectively. In 2012, 2220 grams of vegetables were eaten; meanwhile meat consumption decreased to 1132.
Turning to less popular foods, a person consumed 837 grams of wheat weekly in 1992, while the figures for bean and cheese were standing at 532 and 113. In 2002, three trends for wheat, bean and cheese experienced growth, by 83, 14 and 12 grams, respectively. By 2012, a person ate 977 grams of wheat, while 590 grams of bean was consumed per week. However, the amount of cheese which was eaten was the same in 2002 and 2012.
