TV was by far the most popular form of advertisiment. In 2002, the highest capital was put on TV ads at $70 million , while the reverse was true for Rover with $45 million. Also,Renault spent $59 million which was $6 million less than Vauxhall.Regarding press advertising, the amount of money Renault injected was largest, at $45 million, slightly higher than ,Rover with $38 million. In contrast, Vauxhall and Cetirizine spent little amount of money at $8 million and $12 million respectively.
The money invested in cinema advertising was negligible.Renault was again largest at $6 million on putting funds on cinema commercials , was $1 million higher compared to Vauxhall.Rover and Cetirizine did not advertise their cars in cinema at all. When it comes to radio advertisement ,all producers put the same amount of money and this indication was $15 million.
