Overall, it is clear that California recorded by far the highest income figures. By contrast, it is interesting to note that Utah contained the lowest income over the same period shown.
Looking at the table in more detail, the population aged over 60 takes the lowest percentage in Utah at 8%, and this percentage is followed very closely by the population below the poverty line at 9%. The population aged over 18 is about three times more than the population aged over 60, at 28%.
On the other hand, the population aged over 60 is the most popular in Florida, at 23%, and this figure is nearly two times higher than the population below the poverty line and the population aged under 18, at 12% and 16% respectively over the given period. In California, the highest income is for the population aged under 18%. Moreover, the population aged under 18 and the population below the poverty line had similar proportions, at 17% and 16% respectively. The difference between the population below the poverty line and the population aged over 60 is very small, 3%.
