The given table compares amount of the CO2 produced in China, US, Russia, India and Japan during the years 2005 and 2006.
Overall, the biggest amount of COs released per person in average was in the US. In 2005 the biggest source of CO2 was the United States, the year later – China. Figures in China and India increased, in the USA decreased, while in Russia and Japan remained same.
In 2005 the biggest production of CO2 was occurring in the United States – 5900 million tons to be more precise, decreasing by 2% over a year. Meanwhile, in average a person produced 19,8 kg of CO2 in the US. The second leading releasers of CO2 in 2005 was China, experiencing the highest increase by 11% within a year, and reaching the production of 6000 million tons of redeased CO2 in 2006. Even though, interestingly its average COz release per person was only 4.8 kg. An indian person produced in average 1,2 kg of CO2, while its overall amounts were 1200 and 1300 in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
Russia’s and Japan’s figures remained the same during both given years, being 1699 and 1100, respectively. In average, one person in Russia released 12kg of CO2, while one Japanese – 9,8 kg.
